Jack Wasson
Jack Wasson has spent 40 years sailing the waters of the northeast. He has owned a sailboat for 30 years, starting with a Cape Dory 19 which he cruised throughout Cape Cod Bay.
Jack co-founded Advantage Yacht Sales with Doug in 2007. Jack brings expertise in both sales and marketing. He spent 22 years in the advertising industry as an executive at Arnold Advertising, where he lead the regional McDonald's campaign. He has spent the last 10 years close to the water, as Sales Manager of a yacht dealership in Massachusetts. He has a joint degree from Syracuse University and the Cox Business School.
Jack lives in Newburyport, MA with his wife Lisa, a professinoal caterer. He is also the proud father of 3 extraordinary children - Jennifer, Fletcher, and MacKenzie.
Douglyss Giuliana
Doug Giuliana loves sailing. Doug was introduced to sailing by his wife Michelle when they went sailing on the Charles River in Boston. The joy of finding the wind and making the boat go fast was all Doug needed to become instantly addicted. Little did he know that sailing would become his hobby, passion, and career.
Doug co-founded Advantage Yacht Sales with Jack, providing the business leadership and operations management to complement Jack's expertise in sales and marketing. Doug recieved his MBA from Babson College in 2005, with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. Doug first entered the marine industry in 2004 when he founded SailTime Boston, which offers fractional memberships in new cruising sail and power yachts. Most recently, in 2008 Doug co-founded Black Rock Sailing School in Boston, MA to offer a superior learning environment for new and experience sailors.
Dave Henwood
Dave brings his motivation and his ability to customize product to Advantage Yacht Sales where sales success requires going the extra mile. A life long sailor beginning with working in boat yards in Marblehead, MA where he grew up, Dave progressed through the ownership of several power and sailboats and developed a Charter business in the 1980's as president of the T. Gavin Corp. In 1999-2000 Dave rebuilt and restored a Pearson 35 which was featured in the April 2001 issue of Sail Magazine.
Dave has a long career as a Senior Sales Executive in the printing paper industry, supplying product to the major magazine and book publishing companies. Today Dave has made a lifelong sail and boating avocation his rewarding vocation. He believes he saved the best for last.
Dave is a Graduate of Boston College School of Management and the AMA Management Program. He is the father of five and grandfather of 10 and now lives in Newburyport.
Tom Chicoine
Tom Chicoine leads the service department, responsible for all new boat commissioning, electronics installation, repairs, and warranty. Tom is a Raymarine certified technician since 2005. He is a former NH firefighter.
Diane Chicoine
Diane keeps the office running smoothly, the boat listings up-to-date, and makes sure we all eat our vegetables.
